Infants and Early Explorers
(6 wks - 2 yrs)

Welcome to the Infants and Early Exploeres Program at Bright Adventures Preschool, where we offer a loving and nurturing environment tailored for your little one’s growth and development!

At Bright Adventures, we believe in the power of early academic engagement through our world-renowned, research-based curriculum, Experience Baby. This top-of-the-line curriculum is thoughtfully designed to stimulate your infant’s developing mind while providing a foundation for future learning.

Our caregivers are dedicated to fostering a warm and comforting atmosphere. Your baby will receive plenty of cuddles and loving attention, ensuring they feel safe and secure throughout the day.

We’re proud to incorporate yoga and infant massage into our daily routine, promoting relaxation and enhancing sensory experiences. These activities, coupled with music introduction sessions, help to develop auditory skills and create a soothing environment for your child.

In addition to our focus on emotional well-being, we pay significant attention to fine and gross motor skills development. Through activities such as tracking, grasping, and core strengthening exercises, your infant will build crucial physical skills in a fun and engaging manner.

Experience Baby Curriculum

Your child will participate in a nationally recognized education program that is designed uniquely for infants from birth to 18 months. Experience Baby Curriculum is an infant curriculum that supports relationship-based play and discovery. As your child participates in this program, they will:

• Build emotional connections that are key for developmental growth.

• Have access to specialized sensory tools and toys that invite them to explore and make sense of their environment.

• Engage in playful activities that stimulate their brain and support their development of 23 foundational skills.

Individualized Play and Learning for Continued Growth

Your child’s teacher will use books, puppets, music and toys to help your child develop the 23 foundational skills connected to emotional, language, physical and cognitive development. As your child grows, the Experience Baby Curriculum helps the teacher individualize the experience and increase the challenge so that your child is constantly learning at their unique pace.

Beyond Bottles and Diapers:

A Full Infant Education Program Beyond the typical bottle and diaper tracking, you will receive a daily journal where you will see which activities your child engaged with and learn about the skills they gained throughout the day from the purposeful play. Your child’s brain doubles in size during their fi rst year and is at 90% of its adult size by age 5. Research has shown that the quality of a child’s experiences in the fi rst few years signifi cantly shapes how their brains develop into adulthood.

Parent, Volunteer Involvement, and Assessments

At Bright Adventures Preschool, we believe that active parent involvement and community engagement are key to creating a rich and nurturing learning environment for our infants. Our open-door policy and structured volunteer programs provide numerous opportunities for parents to be actively involved in their child's early development and education.

Parent Volunteers:

We warmly invite parents to participate as volunteers in the classroom. Whether you can spare an hour to read a story, assist with a class activity, or share a special skill or hobby, your presence and involvement are invaluable to us and enriching for the children. Parent volunteers help foster a sense of community and provide our infants with a broader range of experiences and interactions.

Classroom Involvement:

Parents are welcome to visit the classroom at any time to observe and engage with their child's daily activities. We encourage open communication between parents and caregivers to ensure that you are always informed about your child's progress and experiences. Your feedback and participation help us tailor our programs to better meet the needs and interests of each infant.

Assessments and Developmental Tracking:

We conduct regular assessments to monitor and support your infant's developmental milestones. Using a combination of observations, documented interactions, and age-appropriate developmental checklists, we track progress across various domains such as cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.

Parent-Teacher Conferences:

To maintain a strong partnership with families, we hold parent-teacher conferences every four months. These conferences provide an opportunity to discuss your child's progress, share observations, and set goals together. During these meetings, we review assessment results, discuss any areas of concern, and celebrate your child's achievements. Your input is crucial as we collaboratively plan the next steps in your child's learning journey.
